Even if you see me drawing and writing... well it's not my real job. I do it for fun now, but since 7 months I'm working in a very polyvalent position in a High Standing Parisian Palace and one of my job is to be a back-office Concierge.

This means that until the arrival of the guest, i have to organise every detail, propose amazing places, restaurants... And i was thinking to share all of this knowledge with you guys, you, yes, stucked in Paris like me to work hard and to see the rest of the world leaving on vacancies.

This going to be one of a long serie of articles that will talk about non-touristics places where to go, nice restaurants to try (or not to try!!!), exhibitions, free activities, gardens, activities that might make your month of August more enjoyable. Let's begin.

1. Practice Gym for free in the Parisian Gardens (August Only)

Every Saturday at 11 am, Rendez-vous at the Parc Mountsouris (in the 14th arrondissement).

After the main entrance, in the frontal large lawn-grass (on the right of the lake) you can practice for free one hour of Swedish Gym. The course is completely free, there's good music (very useful for the mood) and a professional teacher all along.

You work on your legs, arms, abs, stretching and relaxation. the only thing you need is your gym shoes and you might want to bring a mat.

Other dates: Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays at 7pm.

Location: Parc Montsouris
2 rue Gazan 75014 Paris
RER B : Cité Universitaire or METRO 4 walking from Alésia (5 minutes walking)
BUS: 62

If Montsouris is too far for you, les Jardins du Luxembourg offers the same course on Sundays at 11am.
